Hi! I'm Alexander Peña (he/they), a Queens based director and actor with a background in non-hierarchical and collaborative theatre. 

I strongly believe in the generative potential of these truly collaborative spaces and know that a special sense of play is fostered within them.

I recently graduated from Vassar College in May 2024 with a BA in Philosophy. While at Vassar I was deeply involved in the community of independent student theatre makers as both an actor and a director.

Since graduating, I studied at the Powerhouse Theater Training Program as a directing student and I am extremely eager to continue learning about the craft and my process through the act of collaborating with others.
